Singapore Maritime Week 2026: Ankeri Takeaways

Singapore Maritime Week was impactful and productive for the Ankeri team. We connected with partners and maritime professionals to discuss how data-driven execution is fundamentally changing the way time charters run.

We used the week to share some big milestones, starting with the new Singapore office. Our expansion to Singapore is a major leap forward, intended to improve access and support for shipping companies across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Having a permanent base here puts us right in the heart of the hub where these transformations are happening, allowing us to work even more closely with our partners.

During the week, we also introduced our refreshed website to reflect our message closer to our product offerings and explained how Ankeri creates value for the shipping industry.

The messaging is now focused on how Ankeri is your time charter operating system, built to unify post fixture execution, connect workflows across chartering, invoicing, emissions and give operators full control over commercial and operational processes.

In addition to the great engagement at our booth, we took to the Tech Stage to dive deeper into these challenges. Our CEO, Kristinn Aspelund, spoke on “Your Time Charter Operating System: Turning maritime operations into an AI-operable system,” focusing on how consolidating chartering, invoicing, and emissions into a single system gives shipping companies the control and accuracy they need to be truly AI-ready.

The energy at SMW made one thing clear: fragmented, manual workflows can no longer keep up with today’s pressures. Between tightening regulations, decarbonisation targets, and the volatility of trade routes and fuel costs, structured data has become a necessity. Without an integrated operating system, it is not possible to react fast enough to current shifts or to remain adaptable as the industry moves toward AI-driven operations.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth S10 and joined the conversation.

See you at the next one.
