Ankeri was recently nominated as Best Newcomer for Iceland in this year’s Nordic Startup Awards, an honor reserved for the top 5 young Icelandic startups showing impressive growth and innovation during the past year. Until August 22, the public can vote for one of this year’s 5 nominees to win the national Best Newcomer award and secure a place at the Icelandic National Finale on September 6. Innovation Center Iceland will host the Finale, putting on an epic event “showcasing and celebrating Icelandic Startup heroes.” Most importantly, the celebration will include fine food and drink!
This award is exciting to us because it highlights the interesting, innovative and unusual work that we’re doing at Ankeri, which is crafting a cloud-based solution that will streamline commercial shipping, making the process more economical, environmentally friendly and efficient.
